Sales Consultant, Strand

Our client, a fire equipment service provider based in Strand, seeks a competent and experienced Sales Consultant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Secure new customers
  • Upselling of existing accounts
  • Issue (compile and distribute) quotations to all client’s
  • Follow up on all quotations issued to customers
  • Issue of job cards
  • Issue of invoices
  • Distribute service registers once typed
  • Follow up on quality of work done & customer satisfaction
  • Attend to walk in customers
  • Issue job card
  • Invoice walk-in clients
  • Develop professional work relationships with new clients
  • Achieve zero tolerance service delivery standards
  • Receive incoming calls
  • Deal with customer queries in a professional manner and direct to the relevant department
  • Daily activity report
  • Prospect / Quote / Pipeline report
  • Ad hoc reports as requested

Minimum Requirements:

  • A completed Matric/ Grade 12
  • 5 years of Sales or Administration experience
  • A proven and successful sales track record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Pastel experience (Advantageous)
  • Fire industry experience (Advantageous)
  • Advanced selling skills
  • Target and result- driven
  • Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
  • An ability to work under pressure

Salary on offer: R 5 000 – R 6 500 p/m (Depending on experience) + R100 p/m contribution to day-to-day medical insurance (total premium = R 278 p/m)
